two guards going in the top 10. Maybe I was not so crazy last week when I projected the possibility, though there are no guarantees. The good thing is that three offensive linemen going in the top 10 helps our cause by allowing a defender to slide down to us. He has Lotululei going #14, and that is not too surprising to me; I had him going #11. I know a lot of people might be shocked by this but Lotululei has a thin lower body and his arms are shorter than scouts prefer. If he gets by the Raiders, there is a chance he falls out of the top 10 because the other teams just do not have an immediate need at the position. Titans could take him but you never know.

What I found interesting, however, is that he has Joeckel at #7. I know the Eagles are also interested in Todd Grantham and do wonder how he might influence their pick at #4 if he lands there. As for the Saints, he has us taking Dion Jordan, which I think would be a very solid pick!

I REALLY doubt Cooper goes top 20. Especially not to the Titans who's HC is an OLINE specialist who said he would NEVER spend a early round pick (1st to 3rd round) on an interior lineman.

If Star falls that far we should jump like 2 spots in front of the Panthers for like a 4th and take him.

In that draft the Saints could trade down to 24 with the Colts for a 2nd and a 5th and still get Ansah who's as good a selection as Jordan at this point.

Hmm, I don't know. It's all a crapshoot. But there are many scouts who believe that Womack and Cooper are 1A and 1B. Personally, I do not see Cooper lasting past the Bears pick. I can see him going as high as #9. I think the Jets, Titans, Rams, Cowboys, and Bears will be interested.

With the Titans, they will need to address the secondary and the offensive line. I think they will very much be in the mix to add a player on the offensive line if Dee Milliner does not fall to them. I could see them reaching a bit for Vaccaro but Womack and Cooper will also draw interests I believe regardless of what has been said in the past.

I know a lot of people like Ansah right now. I disagree that he is as good a selection as Jordan because unlike Jordan I do not think Ansah is a good fit in the 3-4 defense. I think he's an unpolished DE in an even front who will take some time to learn and adjust to the pro game. Once he does, sky is the limit. But I do not think he would be a good fit at OLB, and I know that is an unpopular opinion around here.

I've just realised the Colts don't have a 2nd round pick too, or a 5th. :covri:

If Star is at 14 we have to get him. No way we should let that opportunity pass us by.

I think if he slips past 10 then we have to move up... no question. Our D-line could be set for the next 5 years with STAR, CAM, AND AKIEM!!! :worthy:

At this point it's just opinions vs opinions. The kid has so little football experience you have to project what he will be which is why I think he will go late in the 1st round unless a team absolutely falls flat out in love with his physical ability, which is a possibility.

I dont know. I can see him as a stand up linebacker, I think he'd be very good at it at this point. I wouldnt drop him into coverage. I dont know. His meetings will be vital, to see how he quickly he can grasp certain concepts (dropping to a land mark, hand moves, etc.

Who ever drafts him will need patience though. He is the type of player that will have great, game changing plays and some "WTH are you doing?!" plays.

I really like Star...I think he will be great. But man I am just so scared of DT in the first round. Their bustability is just so high.

It seems this is a solid draft for offensive lineman, so I would not be surprise if it goes as Brooks is predicting.

The interesting thing is who is Brooks has available at 15, he has Jordan, Lane Johnson and Vaccaro going 15,16 and 17. I would be happy with any of those players

if star falls that far,i don't want to trade up to get him.major red flag.top five talent but falls for measurables? besides we need to keep all our draft picks especially this year.

everyone has us taking Jordan. I'd rather Vacarro

No way Ansah falls as far as Bucky has him falling on this mock.
