President Bush visits Michigan
Updated: 10/26/2006 10:01:40 PM

Before coming to Michigan, Bush was in Des Moines, Iowa, at lunchtime. He helped raise $400,000 for the state Republican Party and congressional candidate Jeff Lamberti.

The president mistakenly referred to Lamberti as "Dave" throughout his speech.
 :loco:

I like this one. I have no idea what he is talking about... a comma equals a strong will for democracy?

Great find Dads. Unlike so many of his opponents, I've grown to really appreciate the President. He can't help his gaffes, so you just gotta run with 'em and appreciate the humor (which I'm sure he does when/if he sees the quotes written) or when he realizes them himself as below:

"I think -- tide turning -- see, as I remember -- I was raised in the desert, but tides kind of -- it's easy to see a tide turn -- did I say those words?" --George W. Bush, asked if the tide was turning in Iraq, Washington, D.C., June 14, 2006

Well, actually, the United States are IN America, America being the name of the continent, and given that we have/had issues with - off the top of my head - Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Honduras, Nicaragua, etc.. all which are IN America, and given that people living in other American countries call U.S. people "Americanos", he's right.

"See, the irony is that what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this s**t, and it's over.'

Sounds like a plan to me! - At least this one makes sense!
