PITTSBURGH -- Reggie Bush made two of the biggest plays of his young NFL career Sunday in the Saints' 38-31 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers -- memorable for two very different reasons.

During the second quarter, Bush scored his first offensive touchdown on a 15-yard reverse. Then in the third quarter, he fumbled at the end of a 6-yard run, setting up a Pittsburgh touchdown on the next play.

"He got a good hit, and bad ball protection by me," Bush said, referring to Steelers linebacker Larry Foote, who knocked the ball loose at the Saints' 43-yard line. "That was kind of the story of the day, protecting the ball and not turning it over.
