Buzzkill: Neither Saints, ’Boys true contenders (1 Viewer)

Already seen this report a couple days ago, still haven't heard of this guy or his website

Any Given Sunday. Just b/c a team has a better record and b/c they may have more talent doesn't just mean that the other team should give up. We earned ALL our victories and we will earn some more. We're just warming up baby!

so much for the tough schedule, remember all the preseason stuff, where has it gone. Bad rubbish perhaps.

Teams have compiled impressive records, but against weak opponents

so what. how many other teams in the nfc have done all that well?. The whole conference is weak I dont care about the records or the openents we have beaten. The saints and the cowboys have been playing good football down the stretch. Both will be in the playoffs. The bears have the best record and lost to Miami. and rex will lose in the playoffs. The only team that is legitimate is the seahawks. the losses they incurred came when there starting running back and quaterback were injured. anyone can beat anyone in this conference.

How can they not win in the playoffs? Name a solid team in the NFC? His arguement looses merit right there.

There's an inherent problem with his logic:

he defines "quality opponents" as teams with winning records.

The Saints have a winning record, so they must be a quality opponent in his scheme.

He's writing an article saying that the Saints aren't a quality team.

See what I'm driving at?

So who's going to win the NFC? The Bears? Should we just go ahead and crown them?

And the bears who play detroit twice -- the packers twice and minn twice have not played terrible opponents. Just because Pitts/Atlanta/Philly/Carolina and Cincy don't have impressive records doesn't mean that they are bad teams.

um..the Bears have beaten one team with a winning record, and that was just Seattle...such silliness

horrible article-what classified a good vs bad team in weeks 1 and 2? we had the 2nd hardest schedule in the league based on last years records, so we are pretenders because other teams have choked this season?

Who cares? theres no asterix next to your name on the SB trophy saying you won it againts lesser teams

people need to learn to stop listening to the media so freakin much. if we all remember most analysts picked carolina to go to the superbowl. every week they just jump on the best story, thats why the dallas fans are ready to vote a rookie who has started 5 games into the hall of fame and name their first born sons after him. if you continue to listen to what "they" say before you know it youll be using words like sexy to describe football. Just watch the games and make your own assessment. and from what ive seen anybody can make it.

that dude sounds like a bitter eagles fan
