Caesers to get Superdome naming rights per The Athletic (1 Viewer)

Caesars will be the second naming rights sponsor for the Superdome following Mercedes-Benz, who elected to not renew the contract after beginning a 27-year, $324 million deal three years ago for the home of the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints’ new deal is expected to begin in July after the deal with Mercedes-Benz expires.

How does that work? MB signed a 27 year deal with the option to cancel anytime?

No, I think it's poorly worded. Benz signed the deal with Atlanta's stadium for their naming rights 3 years ago. At that time, they also declined to renew their current contract with the Superdome.

After reading it again, my comprehension is poor... I understand now :)

The possibilities are endless.

Columns out front?
Gambling inside?
Waitresses in togas???
Guaranteed, once they get sports wagering up and running, you will be able to place your bets in the Dome. Caesars is not dumb! And the contract is for 20 years!

Great move. You will be able to wager in the dome and or at the Casino.

Seems like a good idea on Caesar's part. Help raise awareness among visitors about the existence of the casino. It was some time ago but I used to have a job where interracted with a lot of visitors and it *seemed* like most weren't even aware there was a casino here.
