You are dead wrong. COD4 took the genre to a new level and MW2 will probably do the same.

yes, but unlike madden, IMO, its a new game each time. Yes the FPS game play is the same, but the maps are different, the story line is relatively different (venues change) , and new features are commonly added.

IMO, this is how you manage a franchise. Because they have two developers that alternate producing a game every other year (Tryarch and Infinity Ward), each years release has the quality of a 2 year production cycle instead of a rushed 1 year cycle.

Great. Couldn't you have waited to post this closer to the release date? Now you've planted the seed.

I played World at War for a while but have gotten bored of it. The graphics in Modern Warfare were much better and I liked the maps better too.
