He’s on pace for an even 18 sacks. The franchise record is 17, set by Pat Swilling in 1991 and tied by La’Roi Glover in 2000.

His 13.5 sacks are already the most by a Saint since Charlie Clemons amassed 13.5 sacks in 2001.

I don’t know if it was ever mentioned, but his 4 sacks against the Falcons moved him past Wayne Martin for second all-time on the franchise career sack list. He now has 85, and trails only Rickey Jackson’s 115. He could realistically catch Jackson in 2021.

The team is on pace for 53.5 sacks (rounded up from 53.33), which would be the most since that monstrous 66 sack year in 2000, and sixth most in franchise history.

Good stuff.

He is doing this while still being held and the refs not calling it. If Cam was on a large media market team he would have at least have 17 or close to 20 sacks by now.
