It will be interesting to see how Cam Newton will perform against teams that are used to facing Vick. Teams in these two divisions are used to facing a running QB and will probably be playing him a bit different than other teams.

So far he has had alot of success, but that is against teams where most QBs in their division are statues. Even though most NFC south teams have changed DCs since Vick was in Atlanta, I still believe these are the teams most prepared to face Cam.

The Panthers are starting a 3-game stretch against opponents from the NFC South and East. I believe this will be the true measuring stick of how good he really is. Although I believe he (regretfully) is a pretty good QB, I also believe he won't be quite as good the following 3 games.

Up until last week he led his team in rushing. :idunno:

And 33 rushing attempts in 4 games is a lot for a QB.
To put it in perspective, he has the second most rushing attempts on that team.

He hasn't run from designed pass plays like Vick did. Having experience against Vick could be a detriment if that is how teams try to play him. The runs come from designed running plays, not scrambles. In the passing game he has just been deadly throwing it down the field. That is not something Vick brought to the table.

His style is alot more like Big Ben, then it is Vick. Also lot of his runs have been on short yardage. A few times on 3rd and 1 or goaline this year they have the shortyardage formation but with Newton in the shotgun and called runs up the middle for him.
