New Orleans Saints defensive captain Cameron Jordan took some time this offseason to join the set of NFL Total Access, the daytime programming block on NFL Network. Jordan briefly spoke about his experiences in the Saints’ recent playoff exits — heartbreaking losses to the Minnesota Vikings in 2017 and the Los Angeles Rams in 2018.
When asked how he’s recovering from the way the 2018 season ended, Jordan compared his thoughts after that loss to how he felt the year before: “We had a division game against (the Panthers), then a postseason run against the Vikings,” Jordan began, recalling the 2017 postseason campaign. “We ended up losing that game, they called it the ‘Minnesota Miracle’, I don’t know why it was a miracle, Minnesota went and got thrashed by Philadelphia the next week.”
