Over the course of the offseason, Pro Football Focus has been going through each team in the league and recapping the highest-graded single season from a defender each year. This exercise includes every season from 2006-2018, which is how long the analytics site has been tracking data.
For the Saints, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Jordan would be the primary option to lead the top performers, and the numbers have proven that belief to be accurate. With a grade of 90.0, Jordan was named as the top performing member of the Saints defense during the 2018 season. Interestingly enough, this is the sixth time in his eight-year career that Jordan has achieved this feat, further proving how dominant of a figure he is in the Big Easy.
