McAllister pinning hopes on return from surgeries

METAIRIE, La. --At one point even New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister figured coming back from a two torn ACLs in both knees within a three-year span would be too much to overcome.

"When it first happened, I was like 'I can't do this. I can't do it again,'" McAllister said.

It took a couple of days following the Week 3 matchup against Tennessee on Monday Night Football for McAllister to throw on his boxing gloves to fight another season-ending knee injury.
