Canada is not sending its best people. (1 Viewer)

Also gave us Triumph, who put out some good stuff in the early 80’s, but who’s record label told them they never be as popular as Styx or Journey and the best the band could hope for was to be as popular as Blue Oyster Cult :hihi:

Rocket Ric Emmett....he of the high falsetto voice and golden locks....but one heck of a guitar player....he rarely gets mentioned but major, major technical chops....

He was my kids 3rd base coach a bunch of years ago in Mississauga which is just west of Toronto. Nice guy.

Emmett’s solo on Rock & Roll Machine is $$$. Emmett may not have been the virtuoso his fellow countryman Frank Marino was, but Emmett was fast!

Canada gave us Marino, Jeff Healey, and Gordon Lightfoot, along with Sarah McLachlan.
