I went from mechanical design in the oil and gas using cadworx and plant 3d for 15 years to being a mechanical designer in the agricultural business using revit.

Different “field” for me since it’s not oil and gas. I got tired of the extreme highs and lows. Agricultural seems a lot more even pace and revit is a challenge in itself. I also saw that in a lot of linked in jobs and this place is willing to train me. So if it turns out I don’t like the place. At least I learned a new program and field.

Also this job is 100% remote working from home. Compared to going to the office daily. So that’s a plus for me in itself. I’m more of a loner than wanting to deal with ppl daily.
