The 2019 Broyles Award winner is officially out the door in Baton Rouge and is headed to the Carolina Panthers as the offensive coordinator for head coach Matt Rhule. The Panthers announced the addition of LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady on Thursday morning, days after LSU's National Championship.

The 30-year old who transformed LSU's offense into the best in college football history leaves Ed Orgeron after just one season. Brady leaves an offense that became the first in NCAA history to have a 5,000-yard passer, a 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers.

Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow and his season were in large part due to Brady, who brought in the New Orleans Saints offense with an RPO style attack that eventually led to Brady becoming the hottest name in coaching circles, even being rumored for head coaching positions.
