Not sure if anyone else got his today. All I can say is wow. This game delivers. I didn't know my 3DS could pump out a game this deep.

No 3DS love? This game is console caliber and a must play for those with the system.

I'm a big Castlevania fan, but don't have a 3DS. I really liked what they did with Lords of Shadow and am eagerly anticipating Lords of Shadow 2, so it sucks I'm missing out on this one, but money has been tight and I can't really validate springing for a 3DS for one game. Maybe one day. The producers did say that they had the assets to potentially release it as a console game after the Nintendo exclusive expired. Maybe then.

My son has a NDS that he loved. But things look crap on them compared to the itouch from 3 years ago.

Handheld systems are breathing their last breathe. Sony is trying to revive theirs with PS4 connection.

Morons.

iTouch and 7 inch tablets have and will continue to pummel them.

Owned a Vita and it didn't have the software support, but I see the 3DS as a viable system. It beats the heck out of iOS. This game is ps2 quality with less resolution, and it looks gorgeous. Borderlands-style cutscenes and a really cool storyline with Simon Belmont, Trevor, and Alucard. Plus it's the only system I can sneak plays on the crapper while my wife is oblivious. ;) It's all about software and the 3DS delivers IMO.

ugh I have to agree with wdf. I feel disgusting, and our water just went out. I can't even shower.

I'm going to go bathe in the river.

I refrained from commenting, because I was laughing too hard at Nintendo DS.

Seriously though, if I were a kid, I'd love the Nintendo handhelds. All the games I grew up playing are pretty much on that system.

But, I have actually never once owned a handheld system. Unless you count my smart phone or tablet. haha.

I got it. Only played about an hour so far, it's awesome. Luigi's Mansion is gonna be great.

Flame away, but I'm 31 and enjoy a good 3DS game when they come out. I didn't know there was an age limit to playing Zelda or Mario. It's one of the few systems that I'm not taking up the TV and aggravating my wife trying to get some game time in. I own all of the systems, but I consistently play my 3DS more because of accessibility. IPhone has horrible controls for my "man-hands". 10000000 is really the only iOS game I've liked so far.

Gotta say the visuals and controls are a treat on my XL. Also must say, the game is pretty repetitive when it comes to boss battles and fails to merge LOS with the Symphony of the Night style that graced all the great GBA Castlevanias. That being said, it is very enjoyable and cool to see the lineage of the Belmonts....
