CBA idea to chew on (1 Viewer)

Increase the Roster to 60 players, with up to the entire 60 being game day actives.

Maximum of 16 games played per player, but exempt, QB, K, P, LS from the two weeks off rule.

I saw a study, the average NFL player plays approximately 14 games per year under the 16 game schedule because of injury. (Not being available for those two games.)

Increase the total weeks of the season to 20, with two BYE weeks per team and 2 additional games, for a total of 18 games per team. The two additional games would consist of one "international" game and one "neutral site" game per team, so season ticket holders would still have 8 regular season home games. The International and Neutral Site games would take place on Wednesday and Thursday nights only but only AFTER a team had a BYE week. Some nights would have two games in the middle of the season so that BYE weeks are not too early or too late in the season. The increase in revenue would be substantial, you would be going from having the 17-week schedule vs 20-week schedule and increasing the Prime Time games by adding Wednesday Night. AGAIN, this is only AFTER a BYE week. Wednesday and Thursday are only after a BYE week. The reason there is Thursday Night football is MONEY, those games are going nowhere. The two additional games would be against the same place finishers from the other conference from the two previous seasons, so those games would never be Divisional or Conference Games.
