Our annual mid season collapse started two weeks ago.

i'll say it again....limit turnovers...we win. We didn't lose to Pitt or Cincy because it was a trap game...we were beating PB at half & should have...even after TOs been leading Cincy after 3. We will be ready to play.

I think Atlanta is a good matchup for us. They are 2nd to last in pass offense against our weak point....big pass plays which goes back even to the Tampa game to Pitt to Cincy. We have to stuff the run & stay in our lanes to keep Vick's running in check. I also think thier D is weakedned since we played them last & our offense is better.

Catch, I disagree with your thinking that we will go on a winning streak if we lose this game. In my opinion, I think we'd probably continue the freefall due to frustration and lack of confidence. This team has not won consistently in a month and so I think this game could be a season-ender unless we win it and get some confidence back. We need to stop all these turnovers, too, or I fear they will continue all season long. Just trying to be a realist. go Saints!

With that in mind, do we really want the Saints to make the playoffs? I mean, if we do make the playoffs, we will have to play better and stronger teams and we haven't beaten any good strong teams all year and if we do get to the playoffs and lose in the first game all we have accomplished is to lower our draft position and our chances of getting a top player or players. I just don't feel good about our chances this week again just like last week and once again I hope I'm wrong.

You have a good point Marlboro Man. I hope we lose ALL of our games! That way we could get Patrick Willis. And then next season I want us to lose all of those games as well! Can you imagine?? If we go 0-16 for a couple seasons in a row, we can rack up some AWESOME draftpicks! Can you imagine 3 or 4 years in a row picking first in the draft! Man we could get some awesome talent on this team to lose with!!
