First off heres how i think our draft will go

rd 1) DRC CB Tenn St. : Gotta love this kid. He really shined at the SR bowl showing he can play with the big boys

rd 2) Jerod Mayo LB Tennessee : I had Laws at this pick but i think he slipped his way into the first round. Mayo (i think) could play Will as well as Mike Linebacker. I'm not particularly sold on Morgan but if he is healthy i would love it.

rd 3) Frank Okam DT Texas : Run Stuffer who would improve our d line

rd 4) JerMichael Finely TE Texas : I think his 40 hurt him ( :ezbill:) Very athletic could turn into a great TE

RD5) Michael Grant S Arkansas: Quick 4.37 official 40 could help as a return man and Deph at SS

rd 6) Eric Foster DE Rutgers : Gotta love this kid: High motor team player. I think he will Crack the DE rotation

rd 7) Marcus Cole C Wisconsin: Started every game this season for the badgers Will become a great back up for Goodwin

UDFA:
Jack Ikegwuonu CB Wisconsin : First round talent suffered heavily because of a serious injury I think in the 2010 season he will quickly rebound

Andre Callender RB BC: May make it into the lineup but mainly a practice squad player

RE-sign
Eric Johnson: I think he will be our number 3 TE while Miller backs up Finely. I have high expectations for Finely: He is very athletic.

FA:
Booger McFarland: If he can come back healthy he would really help us

Trent Green: Will make a GREAT backup. Will tutor Palko on the game. By 2010 Palko will be our top backup.

Kieth Davis: Special teams player who could crack the lineup

Devard Darling: Better than henderson could possible be our 2nd or 3rd

L.J Shelton: Done as a starter but would make a great reserve player

did the Jets give us out 4th round pick back?
I don't think you addressed DT enough, we have what we need to wait another year to get OLB if we wanted to.

Well that very athletic TE your in love with won't come to us in the 4th rd. cause we don't have one.

Lots of "ifs" in there.

IF these things happen we'll be a good team with our current roster plus draft picks:

1. Morgan stays healthy (unlikely)
2. Bush has a breakout year to the tune of 2000 total yards 15 tds (unlikely)
3. Meachem proves he's got talent worthy of his draft spot, say 800 yds and 8 tds (unlikely)
4. We draft a solid defensive contributer at either corner or DT
5. McKenzie 100% week 1 (unlikely)
6. Deuce 100% week 1 (unlikely)
7. Vilma at 100% week 1 (up in the air, but I think he'll be fine).

So, that's all we've gotta do, not that we can't be a playoff team without all of those things.
