I saw Pats play defense against Raiders today. They dropped 8 into coverage against Carr on third down all day. He had nowhere to throw the ball. Saints need to consider this. When you’re not getting there with 4 rushers and when you blitz your DBs have a propensity in man to grab and hold, you need to consider dropping more in coverage and play a zone on third down. I think Allen’s defense has too many guys too close to line on a lot of third downs in man coverage. Easy pickings to just pick best matchup to throw against if you are the opposing QB.
