Charlotte Police Shooting of Keith Lamont Scott. Let us discuss! (1 Viewer)

They should be protesting peacefully like they are doing in Tulsa. A shame a few knuckleheads are being rude.

If by few you mean hundreds or thousands then yeah. If you mean protesting as in gangs decked out in full colors then yeah.

They are carjackings on the interstates, looting, rioting, cops are being spit on and having rocks thrown at them. National guard getting called in, gunshots, people getting shot, gang fights, bottles getting thrown and hitting cops and other protestors.

Those silly knuckleheads.

It has been adjusted.

if only there was a way to protest peacefully, they would get more respect right? people would take it more seriously, right?

So far everything peaceful in Tulsa

Oklahoma protests stay peaceful in wake of Tulsa shooting | KFOR.com

It was a stark contrast to the riots in North Carolina.

Many in our community said the reason it has stayed peaceful in our state is churches have taken an active role.

“We’re angry. I mean, don’t get me wrong. We’re angry here in Oklahoma just like everywhere else, and we should be,” said Pastor Theodis Manning.

Manning is the pastor of the Divine Wisdom Worship Center in Midwest City.

He said, despite the anger, he’s encouraging his congregation to be peaceful.

He said answering violence with violence never works and churches all over the metro are taking a proactive stance.

“We got churches having town hall meetings with law enforcement and city and state officials, I mean, all over the city,” Manning said.

“Everything’s not perfect, but the efforts are being made,” said Clarence Hill, Jr. with Stronger Together OKC.

His group promotes peace, unity and seeking ways to ease racial tension.

This is it right there!

One person shot earlier but not by police. Haven't heard of any bombs but it is still crazy out here in the streets.

a simple Google search turns up communities protesting against violence against gangs all over the country. but who has time for that, right? we can't talk about that because it doesn't fit the narrative of black people only having violent protests. do you really believe that there are no protests in areas where there is black on black violence? or are you content on drinking the kool aid?

I am not sure what your point is. I mean THIS is a protest about "black-on-black" violence right? And its violent. And during the protest a black person was shot by what I am fairly certain is a black person.
Are you saying that is an effective way to make a point. What's the point trying to be made?

Probably tear gas canisters. It makes a loud boom.

Yeah, the first time I heard one of them during the live broadcast I THought it was an explosion or shots from a large caliber gun before the reporter said what the noise was. It was very loud.
