Cheap International Airfare? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
I am looking for the cheapest possible flights from Houston to Rome, Italy... Do any of you have suggestions on places where I can get the best deals out there? I am new to international traveling so I am kind of clueless. Thanks for your help!

"Cheapest possible" is not always recommended when traveling by plane...

Try http://www.kayak.com. It's the best I've found, and I travel internationally a lot, although not to Europe. But this site has pretty good deals, especially if you set up an account, which enables you to set up a flexible date search (if your travel plans are flexible), which will give you far better fares.

I was looking at NO to Geneva yesterday on Hotwire and saw a special from Continental or Delta for like $464 from Atl to Rome. Check Hotwire. ( and since Continental is out of Houston you may fine what you are looking for )

The cheapest possible way is to buy separate tickets. Get a round trip from Houston to somewhere on the east coast - NYC, Philly, Boston and Miami are usually fairly cheap for international flights. Get a flight from one of those to London. Buy a ticket from London to Rome. It's a pain, but is the cheapest way as long as you can be flexible.
