you can see it with the naked eye - it was the most obvious thing in the sky last night
you need the binoculars to see the moons

Jupiter was in the night sky a few months ago when everything was in alignment. It's pretty easy to see with your eyes. could see Saturn, Mars, Venus, but I missed Mercury.

Basically really bright stars.
