We noticed it at work a few days ago and looked it up because we knew that it wasn't a star but it was very bright.

Jupiter was in the night sky a few months ago when everything was in alignment. It's pretty easy to see with your eyes. could see Saturn, Mars, Venus, but I missed Mercury.

Basically really bright stars.
