Read it and understand that with two of the remaining three games being against the NFC East, I have No Fear heading into this end game stretch!

Coach Payton may be the very BEST Coach we could possible have needing at least one game of those three to clinch the Division! He spent his entire Pro Coaching career in the NFC East and on the staff as a QB Coach on the Giants when they made their last Superbowl appeance! This is not NEW territory for him and it's reassuring to know he has been to the Big Dance before too!

I have no doubt that what we saw Sunday Night was simply a preview, a warm-up if you will to what is in store for those teams who have the unfortunate draw to play the SAINTS as they "GEAUX Marching In" to the Post Season!

After watching this team about as closely as I have watched ANY team, SAINTS or otherwise, (thanks to DirecTV and The NFLN along with the mighty fine HDDVR I have just for such things!) I have come to the conclusion that the only team that can actaully beat the SAINTS are The SAINTS themselves with unfortunate penalties and the biggest killer of all the T/O'er ratio! If the SAINTS can play within themselves and hang on to the ball ( If they drive home the issue to our players from top to bottom that THAT one focus of protecting the ball at every turn is the most important factor to the road to the SUPERBOWL, well I believe in this TEAM and know they have it in them to accomplish what has been so far from our reach since the begining!)

So, fellow fanatics! Have NO FEAR as we head into this three game run! It's Christmas time! A Time to be reflective , to be giving, thoughtful and loving. Let's show some love to The SAINTS as they take to the HOME field two of the last three games with Thunderous ovations and be the BEST 12th MAN EVER! This TEAM deserves it and so do WE!

Hey League!

The SAINTS ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!! GEAUX SAINTS GEAUX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you're fired up, Dr. DADDY-EAUX. I counted 54 exclamation marks. :tup2:

You already KNOW I can't help myself, so I'll leave it at that.

I have NEVER felt this stongly about The SAINTS as a winning TEAM prior to this season and I was fully enraptured with the Dome Patrol and even old Bobby "Bouchene" Hebert!

This is one "Special" Team with , what appears to be ALL of the right elements, peeking at the right time, headed into a run of very winnale games based on Coach Payton's familiarity with two of the last three opponents, two of the last three games at home, I mean, this is really something ELSE! So different from the gut wrentching of the last five years that I feel like I'm even breathing deeper over all than I ever have!

OK, before I start throwing the "!"s around too much, I'm OUT!

geaux saints!

In my mind, there is no better combination than the Head Coach also being the Offensive Coordinator.

I personally had some slight reservations about Sean Payton - Not Anymore!! - Best HC the Saints have ever had. Better Yet - he has put together a group of position coaches than has coached this team to a very hiigh skill level and it shins thru every game this tem plays.

So my hats off to Coach Payton AND all the coaching staff!!

Hey, I think it's funny (in a good way). I don't think anyone who's a Saints fan can say they've EVER been this excited about the team. My whole work week has been great thusfar.

I was disappointed initially with the hiring of Sean Payton, but all it took was a minicamp for me to see the difference. I thought this was a 6-7 win season up until Week 3 or so.

Be careful with the pulp fiction references. I got a little heat for mine on another thread.

Don't forget the EXTRA motivation Payton will have playing against the Giants. As much as he had playing Dallas, he left there on good terms. His tenure in NY, though highlighted by a Super Bowl appearance, wasn't as positive as he was stripped of his play-calling duties. Although, the man who did it, Fassel, is no longer there.

All Coach Payton has to do is to show the team a giant poster two sets of numbers:

Record With TO's and Record without TO's. That should do it.

If the heat didn't come from a Mod or Admin, don't sweat it. Too many oversensative people these days it seems....The same dude tried to make what I said into a racial thing...

lol!

Quote from the article I found amusing:

"In his first season as coordinator, the Giants captured the NFC title and went to Super Bowl XXXV. New York scored 328 points the clubs highest total since 1990."

Indeed, SP is amazing!! :)

:drummer:
DrummerRick

ps What was their highest total prior to that??!!
