Twenty-nine years ago the final episode of Cheers aired. It drew the second highest rating for a series finale. Only the M*A*S*H finale drew a larger audience. Cheers is one of my favorite shows of all time.



The night after the finale, the cast appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They shot the show on the set from Cheers.
