anyone plan on making the trip again this season?

and also does anyone know what month the game is scheduled for?

I went up for the NFC championship, wanted to make the trip back last season but I had a a couple prior commitments

They didnt release the sched yet so there is no way to know when we are playing there. I really hope its early in the season, but I have a bad feeling about it.

Yea i too hope that its early in the season I freezed my but off for the nfc championship game. But I'm looking foward to making the trip back because I think the 3rd time can be the charm

Ha... I am still trying to get the feeling back in my feet. That cold was brutal. We were sitting high up and could see the wind coming off the lake. Please let it be early fall and maybe I will go back.

I think it is Dec. 11, a national Thursday night game. Anybody know what a single ticket cost?

my friend bought tickets on Saturday. Bears' single game tickets went on sale at noon.

Last year, we stayed at the Monaco at the NE corner of the L-Loop. We wentr to the NHL game the night we played the bears (Kings beat the Blackhawks in OT). We tried to make it to the 1:00pm NBA game on Monday (Magic-Bulls OT game), but the crew could get rolling after an extended night on Rush St. following a bone-in ribye at Ditka's when the hockey game ended. I jokingly went "rude tourist" and grilled the hostess as to why there was no Saints memorabilia hanging on the wall amongst the bear stuff. I asked her if she even realized Ditka coached out team for 3 season's. We laughed after the fact. That was a good trip, except for the outcome of our game.

We went last year and had a blast! The weather was awesome! We caught the bulls/magic game that weekend as well and lucked up and got tickets to the katt williams new years party! Best weekend in the history of weekends. We stayed at the Palmer House Hilton. Really enjoyed ourselves.

I'm thinking about it. I lived in Chicago for two years after Katrina. I'm eager to go back; heck, I might not even attend the game (or get uber-cheapo seats).

is anyone going to set up a group thing (as far as tickets go) to travel up there? I'd like to be able to sit with other saints fans. My wife (to be) and I would like to be able to take the trip.

i willl be going to the game, as i live in chicago. If anybody wants to tailgate let me know. you should be able to find cheap tickets since the bears wont do vey well this season

Just booked my flight. Last week on SW, it was $345.00 from Jackson, just checked it, it was $281.00. I'm booked. If you're staying through the weekend, the Bulls host the Nets on Saturday night and the Blackhawks host the Blue Jackets Sunday night........

I'm in. Flying up on Tuesday with my girlfriend and staying until Sunday.

I was able to get 2 tickets in section 427, but found some more on the first row of the 400-level about 20 yard line, so we will be hanging the flag over the wall! I'll be giving the 2 in 427 to a friend of mine (Bears fan) who is picking me up from the airport.

If there is a Saints tailgate set up, let me know. I have been to the city a few times in the past couple of years, so I know my way around pretty well.

We are a little freaked about the cold weather. I went in December of 2006 and it was unusually warm, or shall I say... er... not THAT cold (like high in the 40's-50's and lows in the 30's-40's). We have layers... thermals, hoodies, hats, jackets, gloves, scarves, heat packs, etc. I'm worried about my feet. I don't have snow boots. Think I'll be good in some tennis shoes and thermal/wool socks?
