this is just out of curiosity, but where do you think he will go in the draft? he has been a starter for four years and a good college QB, yet i have heard no one talking about him. is he a second day pick? if so, do the saints look to him as a possible third stringer? im holding out for colt brennan with one of our 4ths hopefully.

I don't think you waste a valuable draft pick to get a backup QB that will most likely never see the field...but thats just me.

So many other things that are important.

It's funny how he's not even the best QB on his Florida team. But he was pretty clutch in the NCG.

I think 4th-5th round, but unlike most people I think he will turn out to be a starting QB before the end of his NFL career. He might not be the most physically gifted guy, but he's really smart and could flourish in a west coast offense.

There was in the NFL last year who said if Leak came out for the Draft he would not be picked very high but he would be a successful NFL QB. I remember saying no way because the guy never impressed me at all.

I think he'll be snagged early in the 3rd round and the team that picks him will be touting it as a steal they could not pass on.

Leak doesn't awe anyone but after watching the game against The Ohio State University I can see how he can be just as good or better than any of the lower 20 QB's in the NFL. He's played many BIG games, faced tough defenses, played in a Pro style offense, manages the offense, plays with lots of poise, always looks under control and will not make many mistakes to lose games. He's one of those QB's whose job is always threaghtened but always finds a way to be the starter.

He is the best QB on that team. He just isn't the best running QB on that team. Tebow will find out next year that it's harder to play the position when you actually have to sit in the pocket and throw the ball sometimes.

Round 6 or 7 - not an NFL QB prospect.

BTW - I not sure Troy Smith will get much attention in the draft. IMO he is not an NFL QB prospect.

Chris has several things working against him. First, he is small in stature: 5'10 and a half and he only weighs about 205. Then you see weird mechanics in his motion. Sometimes he has an over the top delivery but when he is flustered, he throws from all over the place. He played in a weird offense the last two years and needs a lot of fundamental work. With this info, he'll be lucky to go in the 6th or 7th rd. He might be drafted because he's a good athlete and he's smart and tough but it won't be early. My bet is that he'll be a late 7th rd pick.
