I'm not posting this on the Hornets board because this has nothing to do with basketball. I just saw this guy on Jimmy Kimmel Live and, even though I haven't seen the Hornets play a whole lot-- I want this guy representing my city. He's humble, charismatic, funny-- bottom line, Chris Paul has star quality and we are fortunate to have him as the face of one of New Orleans' franchises.

Blue, Cp3 is a blessing and a gift from God to our city when we needed it the most. I dont mean to ruffle anyone who may not be religous or agnostic/athiest, but I truly feel that he is a special talent thst has a God given ability to inspire and give poeple hope when their is very little to be seen. He does not have an ego , he does not try to impress you, he just plays his tail off and lets that do his talking for him.

I believe in Providence and I think to do what Paul has done for the New Orleans community is a miracle.

He's got us all fooled. I've heard from people i the know that he's not nearly the good ole boy he appears to be.

Please explain. Examples and such would be nice.

Who's Pargo?

BTW, I wonder how many Hornets fans would be all giddy about facing the Mavs now? Yeah, it took them a while to get things figured out, but they got it done in time.

Id rather play them than the Jazz, Lakers, Spurs, or Suns. Even though we swept the Suns.

Looks like we will have the Nuggets in round 1 though. Not bad but still scary to face Iverson and Melo. They could go off at any time. Their D is terrible though.

believe, I am pretty sure the Hornets would fare well against the Nuggets. I see them beating them in 5 or 6 games if it did happen. What we don't want to happen is a team like Utah coming in to ruin the party. Their a team that concerns me and our playoff chances. If we were to get into the 2nd or 3rd round, I would not want to face them but I do think we could hold our own if we got into a long drawn series.

OTOH, George Karl is a damn good coach. He has pulled out some stunners in his career. He had some great Milwaukee teams with Cass ell and Ray Allen. Its a wonder he hasn't won an NBA title in the years he has been coaching. He is a very underrated HC. We need to bring our A game and more to beat the Nuggets anyhow. It may be a bit tighter then inticipated
