It's hard to imagine anyone who is worse at evaluating QB play and QB talent than Chris Simms. His short tenure and stunningly poor play when he was in the NFL, coupled with his misses by gargantuan amounts on his prognostications, qualify him as perhaps the worst talking head to ever be involved with the sport.

According to your post, Sean Payton doesn't know football. As he didn't have much success as a pro qb ...
Sean Payton earned credibility as an extremely successful NFL offensive coordinate and then head coach. Simms not so much. I can understand the thought process that comes into making this comparison but it doesn't hold up.

Although I rarely agree with him, he was one of the few people in media that correctly identified Lamar's ability as a passer.
