After facing Payton's offense, Chuck's like

Bears are a train wreck. Pace keeps signing former Saints players while never getting a QB or good offensive weapons to help out that defense.

Anyone worried that Pace may come after Ryan Nielsen for the DC? If he takes Aaron Glenn Saints get an additional comp draft pick at the end of the 3rd round in each of the next two drafts.

I'm happy for him.

He was diagnosed with leukemia near the beginning of the season in 2012 when he was the head coach of the Colts. He returned later in the season to finish it and was only out for 12 games.

The guy that filled in for him while he was out?

The Colts offensive coordinator - Bruce Arians.

Coincidence?

I cant believe Ryan Pace is keeping his job. His two biggest blunders would cost every GM thier job probably. Trading the farm to pick Trubisky and doing that again to acquire Khalil Mack. Which pretty much forced Chicago to sign him to a big contract. While a nice player, hes not what he once was with Oakland.

Probably a third misfire for him, hiring Nagy to be the head coach. He clearly hasnt maximized the talent on his roster and the team has been mediocre since FANGIO left.

You think Pagano was the scapegoat or really wanted to retire?

Trading the farm to pick Trubisky ...

That’s probably a little overstated. He swapped his 1’st round #3 pick for the #2. To move up one spot he gave up the Bears 3’rd and 4’th round picks for a player nobody else was moving up for. Obviously everyone agrees it was a terrible move but that would not be considered a “trading the farm” deal. The real problem was their evaluation that Trubisky was the best QB in the draft.
