It's increasing everywhere unfortunately. Never leave the house without my sidekick (M&P 9c) these days.

I'm saddened, but not surprised to see so many LA cities on the list.

Not surprising at all. Monroe has lost employer after employer and replaced it with retail.

You are part of the problem.

Law abiding citizens carrying protection are partly the reason for the increased crime rate?

We should immediately begin arresting all the protection carrying and law abiding citizens so we can once again live in a safe city. The gang units should be retrained and put on the Law Abiding Citizen Reduction Task Force. We have to do something now!

How is that? I went through all the steps, acquired my CCP, and I carry concealed everywhere I go. It's not out in the open, and 99.9% of people can't even tell I'm carrying.

It's not increasing everywhere. Here are 15 cities where it is plummeting.
Cities Where Crime Is Plummeting - 24/7 Wall St.

There are pockets in the US where crime is going up but overall crime in the US has been dropping, bit by bit, for decades. There are hard numbers from the FBI to back that up too.

I thought this was a thread pertaining to Louisiana. Guess I should've said everywhere in Louisiana.

Probably has nothing to do with poverty and Louisiana's lack of investment in social programs and education.
But let's get more police on the street to further increase the highest prison population in the world.
