Well if the Superbowl were in NOLA every year, and teams did this, we would have new fleets of Motorcycles for our police.

People making classy moves is such rare air these days.

Ive made many trips in Baltimore as I use to live outside of the city, wonderful place to visit, lots of things to do and see.

An unprecidented gesture for an unprecidented host city. Maybe the NFL and their owners forgot what it was like to have a Super Bowl hosted by the city of New Orleans and it's people? Remember that it had been quite a number of years since we last hosted a SB. I think that this gesture says a lot to the comparison of other recent host cities like Indy, Dallas, Miami, etc. Or maybe it just said that the NOPD was is dire need of new motorbikes? Either way, well done, Ravens!

The New Orleans Police Department has a pretty impressive list of donated assets.

Last year, Satan's War, a descendant of Secretariat, was retired from the NOPD after 20 years of service in the Mounted Division. Satan's War was donated to the department in 1992 after a career as a thoroughbred.

Also last year, a Budweiser Clydesdale was donated to the NOPD by Anheuser-Busch as an addition to the Mounted Division. It is unclear if his training has gone well enough for him to participate in active duty yet.

And now, two Harley-Davidsons have been donated by the Ravens as a symbol of gratitude toward New Orleans and the NOPD for exemplary hospitality, protection, and service.
