Cloverfield Update **Possible Spoilers** (1 Viewer)

im pretty sure its not the first one, because its ben confrimed the monster has smaller, raptor like creatures/parasites attached to it that fall of and do nasty things to people.
So it's Godzilla with bad personal hygiene and killer mites. Great.

Hasn't this been done before?

JJ Abrams feels that we should have our own monster...

Indeed. That abomination wasn't Godzilla. If there were any justice in the world, a team of Toho ninjas would've hunted down those responsible and stuck them so full of throwing stars their corpses generated their own magnetic fields.

On Aint it Cool there is a review of the movie. The guy loved it.

I think this will be good. I almost never pick a bad movie, but after reading up on Abrams, I admit that I am really intrigued. Supposedly he's focusing more on the mystery of the monster and less on creating a big, lazy special effects blockbuster that's usually reserved for summers and Labor Days.

Abrams is a good director, he always has a twist......and I like twists in movies. Even MI-III was pretty good (and I hate Tom Cruise). Phillip Seymore Hoffman saved that movie, along with Abrams storytelling style.

I've never watched Lost, but I'm thinking I should pick up the DVD's.

Lost is great, at least the first season was, I am going to have to rent the rest of them but the first season was excellent.
