Somebody is doing something right. This ranking, however arbitrary as it might be, should make for a nice recruiting tool. Miles is recruiting and developing top talent to top this list. I think its interesting, perhaps even absurd, who did not make the list. But hey, its not my list.

very interesting read. Not sure how they calcuated the VAE or ROI, but as an LSU fan I want to agree with them.

The analysis only considers players drafted between 1970 and 2007. So I'm not sure how much credit Les deserves for that. Still you're absolutely right that it could be a great recruiting tool. An even better one would be if a bunch of LSU players go high in this year's draft.

It has about as much value as assuming that every Penn State LB that enters the NFL will be a good one...
