He currently leads the NFL in receiving yards.

54 catches, 869 yards receiving, 7 TDs, over 16 ypc average.

Anyone think he will make the Pro Bowl (popularity contest) ?

Definitely a front runner for ROY. Only Maroney and Addai have a chance to take it from him. Addai is splitting way too much time with Rhodes in Indy right now to really put him in the running though.

Way to go Colston, another big game.

This was the best Reggie's looked on offense this season as well, too bad for the fumble.

If Colston don't make the Pro-Bowl then the NFL certainly needs to bill the game as most popular players getting elected and not the best players or just scrap the game all together.

He is on pace for 96 catches and 1537 yards receiving.

Colston has a very good chance of breaking the 1000 yard mark next week against the Bengals.

Although the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest, if Colston continues his play and still ends up leading the league in yards and doesn't make it I think I might make a trip to the league office to protest because a definite injustice would have been done.

colston won't make the probowl, voting started too long ago for him to catch everyone

People do realize that fan voting is only 1/3 of the vote? Coaches and players get a say and their vote is pretty darn legitimate.

Without a doubt ...he'll be in Hawaii in Feb 2007. More importantly, I hope he and the Saints will be in the postseason this season!

BTW, here are a few other NFL records he's threatening to reach or surpass:
(courtesy of www.nfl.com)

Most Yards Gained, Rookie, Season
1,473 Bill Groman, Houston, 1960
1,377 Anquan Boldin, Arizona, 2003
1,313 Randy Moss, Minnesota, 1998

Most Yards Gained, Season (veterans)
1,848 Jerry Rice, San Francisco, 1995
1,781 Isaac Bruce, St. Louis, 1995
1,746 Charley Hennigan, Houston, 1961

He will get ROY if he continues this level of play and can stay healthy. Heck with these huge games every week, he might end up being the #1 receiver in the NFL for the season.
