The team’s third consecutive 7-9 finish, coupled with their fourth losing season out of the past five years, left many fans screaming for change.

Rumors about Sean Payton moving on came and went, much like the past years, but some long-standing assistants who had a hand in helping the Black and Gold earn their first Lombardi Trophy have exited the picture.

With all that being said, this is the most important offseason the Saints have had for quite some time, and it might be their most important yet.

Over the course of the next several months, we’ll witness such events as the Reese’s Senior Bowl, College Pro Days and the NFL combine.
