Sad, but not too surprising. Thankfully Campbell and Miller have both been playing pretty well. I guess there is a reason we still had Owens on the roster as well.

We cut Lawrie because we had 5 TE's with him. With Conwell done we are down to 3 which is about right.

So who are they adding to the roster because the only reason they would have put him on IR this quickis if they wanted to sign someone. Considering they waited this long for him I dont think they would just get tired of waiting and cut him. Smells like a CB to me

Yeah that made me a little uncomfortable as well, but its probably a topic best left alone. (Btw I am a Christian as well, but I feel for Conwell despite his religious choice.)

Conwell is a good guy but he was not a good TE. He could block but was not as good as many hyped him up to be and he was very subpar as a receiver. I just assume have Holland playing TE.
