The ones I would not explore are the underwater ones. If your flashlight goes out, you're dead.

I remember a discovery channel episode of spelunkers exploring a cave in Kentucky. They crawled through a 12 inch
passage and wound up on the Mammoth caves walkway to the exit.

I've never been personally, but there are some caves/underground rivers near Cancun where you can tube or float (with life vest) through that are said to be pretty cool.
