The snapshot of an ant's face, magnified five times under a microscope, was submitted to the 2022 Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition by Lithuanian wildlife photographer Eugenijus Kavaliauskas.

The competition celebrates the art of microscope photography, which allows people to capture details the human eye cannot see…….

In a picture captured by Chinese photographer Yongqing Bao, a female Tibetan fox and a Himalayan marmot meet. The fox, hunting to feed her three cubs, crouches, ready to pounce. The marmot, upright and pivoting on one small claw, opens its mouth in a silent screech.................

As a round, orange-tinted cloud hovered over Bursa, Turkey, on Thursday, it might have looked like a flying saucer was about to land.

But there was no alien invasion, just the presence of a lenticular cloud — not uncommon in the vicinity of tall mountains.

A man from Dildo, N.L. has captured the attention of iceberg lovers after photographing an oddly-shaped hunk — now popularly known as the "dickie berg" on social media — off the coast of Newfoundland.
