A friend caught this on his trail cam. Eagle and coyote fighting over a deer gut pile. Hope I uploaded it right.

My dad managed a campground in Cooper Landing Alaska after he retired. The park rangers said if you were charged by a Grizzly, climb the nearest tree. If charged by a black bear play dead. Black bears can climb trees. Grizzlies can't. Neither situation would be fun

Is this true? I would hate to be the one to test this.

I saw a black bear cub one time, but it ran away. It was still scary.
