Honestly had no clue they were still around until they made that announcement.

The Benson family bought them a few years ago (before Tom died) and has/had been attempting to revamp the brand. I hadn't tried any since the "rebirth" and I don't really plan too. Not because of a proposed name change, but because I never really cared for Dixie to begin with. The Blackened Voodoo and Crimson Voodoo (I think those were the names) I remember as being OK, but that was about 20 years ago.

I'm drinking beer tonight. Normally, if I'm drinking the night before a work day I'll limit myself to 10 but I'm going for 11-12. I'm still going to sleep by 10:30 though. I'm on my 9th beer which is why I'm going for more.

Pretty much. We have a vegan in the house so it adds protein.
