So, a few things keeping me busy these days, besides work.

Started a new set of strength training classes from Peloton. That smile shows how much I just LOOOOOVE weight lifting.. Yes, that was sarcasm. My body is still in pain.

Got a new MONSTER laptop for work. ”The Beast” has a core i9, 64GB or RAM, and 1TB storage.

Can’t really do any serious offroading these days so my son and I gave the truck a bath yesterday.

And I’m spending my evenings building a Millennium Falcon.

Man, I'm jealous! I want one of those Millennium Falcons. I love Star Wars, and Legos. Match made in heaven. Lol.

I'm seriously thinking about getting another computer. Probably a gaming PC. We'll see.

Man it's been way too long but we were able to sign up for a couple of seats at mass today so my wife and I attended. In a couple of weeks if the governor follows through and the Destroya doesn't one up him, the churches should be opened to 25% capacity.

I made peach and apple hand pies with my daughter this week. Made a glaze to put on them which was the first time I've done that. They were fantastic. Only complaint is the glaze melts when you store them. Need to see if there's a way I can fix that but just a minor thing...still tasted delicious.IMG_20200429_212111.jpg

When do you put the glaze on?

How is the cooling in that laptop?

When do you put the glaze on?
I put it on right after and it hardened nicely. Not sure if it would've stayed hard if we left them out but we put them in a Tupperware containers after they cooler and that's when the glaze got "wet". I tried looking up solutions but no luck. I'm wondering if we didn't seal them up in a container of that would help.

If you put them in Tupperware right after (while still warm) then the glaze probably steamed off

They were cooled all the way when they went to the Tupperware. Reading it seems like the moisture in the Tupperware is drawn to the sugar causing it. Haven't read how to stop it although there was a gelatin post that sounded like it might work. Not sure just how much I want to put into this glaze.....they were pretty dang good like they were and I can always wrap it in a paper towel to cut down on the mess.

I've got a core i7 with 35GB as my personal laptop. The key is to plug the power on the right side of the laptop and plug anything else on the left side. The thermals cause the fan to run a lot if you keep the power and accessories plugged on one side. it's a quirk I wish it didn't have.

I haven't yet powered on the new one. I'm going to do a youtube video showing how a Mac is provisioned with Workspace One (one of our products). I should be opening it up tomorrow.

So where does that put Dago?
That magnificent piece of equipment screams versatility.

So I'm guessing he prefers jorts, a tuxedo t-shirt, and the most glorious mullet that we've ever seen. He's ready for the prom but he'll get in the pool wit cha.

I have a pit boss kamado. If that thing is as well made he's going to love it.
