If you break down the data by regions on the LDH site, it looks like the epicenter has shifted. New cases in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Bayou, and Northshore are all declining, but Lake Charles, Alexandria, and Shreveport are still rising. Acadiana and Monroe are sort of plateaued.

Not only was last year a disaster from top to bottom with the pandemic, hurricane, and winter storm, but this year has already been worse pandemic wise for our school than at any single point last year.
