I know our first priority is defense, but I must say I'm surprised that given our lack of a good TE and our large cap space, we are not even in the running for Crumpler. I think he would be a great addition but I guess on the bright side it may be an indicator that Payton is truly focused on defense.

declining because he had no quaterback last year, 4 million isn't that much money for a 5 time pro bowler who can actually block. I dont think we will, but id love to get him.

I'm trying to find the specifics on what we paid Johnson and what we will pay him if we don't cut him this year. I wanta say its around 3 million a year.
