Given the Saints success running this past Sunday, and the fact that our best receivers are hurt, do you think Dallas will stack 8 in the box and key in on the running game. Does our passing game look like the lesser of two evils at this point?

For those who saw Dallas beat the Colts...

Indy's 4 turnovers aside, how good does Dallas' secondary look?

Who do you think will be the biggest match up problem for Dallas' defense?

Is Reggie the key to our offensive success this week?

i think reggie will be a huge key in our success this week but i think he'll do it catching the ball.

I would say getting Reggie matched up on linebackers and RW, will be the key to the game. Newman is as good as it gets a CB and Henry is very good also. Without Colston and Horn(hopefully Colston plays) it will be imperative to get reggie matched up in situations that he will be able to exploit.

Being a Cowboys fan, no disrespect, but I would love to see Roy POP Reggie one and show him what defense is all about (But, I like Reggie so dont get him injured)...good luck this week saints fans...

I think he could get a shot on him, but I think that if we get Roy matched up on Reggie deep it is goodnight. I love roy but he can't hang with Reggie's speed.

He'd better. Some one has to take up the slack for Colston and Horn.

Parcells is not going to give any secrets away but I just listened to his press conference and I think he is going to focus on putting pressure on Brees and making sure they tackle well.

It sounds like he is focusing more on what Baltimore and Cinn did against the saints to slow them down. Parcells said it all starts with the QB and the saints have a young OL playing pretty good. I expect to see alot of blitz and stunts. He was asked abou the low number of sacks on Brees and Parcells said that number is a little skewed because Brees has been touched quite a bit.

As for Reggie's game last week he said SF did a poor job of tackleing and reggie is a guy who does very well in space so you have to tackle well. He gave Reggie his props for being a player you have to watch out for.

He gave props all across the board for the saints. Said the defense is playing well so he may have been trying to sucker saints fans with that comment.

Roy will be chasing him all night. He'll hardly be in position to pop him. Dallas fans had better hope Roy isn't left to cover Reggie. We've all seen Williams' coverage skills. They're about as good as Stoutmire's

Roy better tackle him before the ball gets there if he wants to have a chance at all..

Nothing would make me happier than for the Cowgirls to emulate Cincinnati, since they held us to only 595 yards of offense that day. I'm taking to the bank that Brees won't have those kinds of multiple red-zone brainlock INTs again.

And i'm not worried about Williams. We've played the Ravens and the Panthers and some other decently physical teams, and you can't hit what you can't catch; Reggie doesn't give you too many clean shots. If you go out there angling for the kill shot with him, you're liable to end up with an armful of air and a mouthful of grass at the end of your Sylvester the Cat imitation.

Well Jeremiah Trotter said the same thing and look what happened to him.

Parcells noted tht the saints racked up alot of yards against Cinn, but said they did not score many points. I think Payton already addressed the redzone problem of that game and is now running the ball down there. Parcells point was that you have to attack the QB either as pressure or decoying coverage.

If I'm Payton, I would love nothing more than to have Roy Williams chasing Reggie. That would all but guaranty that the Cowboys are in man coverage which Brees should be able to exploit.

Given that our WR corps is depleted and they have Newman to shut down one side of the field, I'd think stacking against the run and using Roy Williams to spy Reggie might be the way to go. With the way Romo is playing, I'd be surprised if Payton doesn't try to rely heavily on the running game to put together long drives and keep him on the sidelines. Dallas has to try to shut down the running game or risk their defense tiring out by the 2nd half and being subject to play action. Parcells can poo-poo the SF defense's tackling all he wants. The fact remains that SF tried to stop a previously blistering passing attack and got burned badly by the short yardage game (with Reggie turning some of that into much longer yardage).

On defense, the Saints CBs need to get after the Dallas WRs at the line (very tough to do with T.O., but not impossible for McKenzie). If they are thrown off their routes Romo should be very susceptible to the blitz. Getting pressure on him is the key to stopping them on offense. They're also going to need Bullocks to do a good job on Witten or we'll get toasted across the middle.
