Dallas Tankers

The way I read this is, Dallas fans want to tank to get Garret fired.

They are 1st in their division with a good chance to make the playoffs. They are considering tanking.
I hope not. We nee them to win the NFC East at 8-8 then knock out the 49ers in the wildcard round.

Do you honestly think they're gonna do anything other than embarrass themselves in the playoffs? Why would they want anything that improves Jason Garrett's chances of clinging to that throne for one more season? I assume you remember how loudly we groaned when Jim Haslett was retained in 2004 and 2005 and these poor SOBs have had about the same type of coach for 10 years, not the minuscule 6 that we were fortunate enough to only have to endure under JH.

Any fan that wants "their" team to tank is not a true fan.
Why? Is someone a "TR00 FAN" if they want their team to keep fighting for wins just to stay mediocre for another 25 years? Is your reasoning that teams have a moral obligation to play their best even though their best, when coupled with horrible ownership and coaching will clearly never lead to a SB win or even an NFC CG appearance?

Imagine being Dallas/Philly and knowing that all you have to look forward to by winning the division is a thumping by Seattle/49ers.

Now if Philly gets healthy, they could be anyone solely due to Philly in January with the possibility of snow.

If the season ended today, the Redskins would have the 3rd overall pick. Also, Redskins still have a chance to win the NFC East. What an awful division. Cowboys couldn't tank if they wanted too.

The problem with tanking is it doesn’t remove the core of their issues. The GM will not be fired or resign.
Not sure I get this....talk as much as you want about Jerrah, Dallas is as talented as any team in the league and Coaching is absolutely why they aren’t at least 2 wins better than their record so far this year.

If they let Garrett go tomorrow and make Richard their Interim, I think they’d have a better finish to their season.

I hate the Cowgirls
