How do the Cowboys stack up against the Saints?

A few stuff from their official blog...

How Good Are The Saints?
The New Orleans Saints lost their home, the Superdome, right along with thousands of citizens displaced by Hurricane Katrina just before the 2005 season began. That season, one of their eight “home” games was even played in New Jersey at the Meadowlands. No one should have been surprised by their 3-13 finish.

It’s amazing what a little home cooking can do. The 2006 Saints enter their Week 13 match-up with the Cowboys perched atop the NFC South with an 8-4 record and a two-game winning streak.

But, how good are these N’awlins boys.

It’s a sexy story, but the fact is the Saints may not be as good as advertised.

They have yet to defeat a team that currently owns a winning record. Three of their wins come at the expense of teams with .500 winning percentages (Falcons twice and the Eagles – 2 of the 3 were in New Orleans). The other 5 games they have won were against teams that boast a combined record of 19-41 (32% wins). They definitely haven’t beaten the cream of the crop.

In all fairness, they only played two teams with winning records, and all they can do is play their schedule. However in both games, at home nonetheless, the Ravens and Bengals convincingly handled them 22-35 and 16-31, respectively.

Man, I hope we wipe the floor with them.

The opposing team always takes out the negatives from our team. It is all settled on gameday. That is why you play the game.

True story :plus-un2:

It's on your official website.

Even our official website isn't clipping posts from on here about us being better than you or writing blogs saying "Romo may not be as good as advertised'.

When we beat Philly and ATL early in the season, both were above .500. Not our fault they went into a downfall after that.

Of course it wasnt your fault, but it proves they werent that good. If you beat a team in week 3 that is 2-0 and that team ends up 4-12, was the early season win really impressive?

Dallas fans cocky? No....they feel they are entitled to winning teams. You know...put a star on it & its somehow better. Don't worry....the fall will be hard.

BTW.....Dallas has only beaten 1 team with a winning record....but you know you can only play what your schedule is.

Okay, and the only winning team you guys have beat is the Colts.

THE COWBOYS AREN'T AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED!!!

As pointed out earlier... If this is the "standard"
Dallas has beaten Indy....That's it for winning records so far.
They've lost to 2 6-6 teams (Giants/Eagles) and a 3-9 Washington team and a 7-5 Jax team.

So I'd say we're about even... So can we say "Dallas isn't as good as their record indicates"?

No, they have TONY ROMO! TONY FREAKING ROMO!

Weren't they beaten not once, but twice by the last place team in their division?
