Dallas wearing there blue jerseys week 4 vs the Saints (1 Viewer)

Blue is the Cowboys away jerseys.

Technically every team’s “dark colored” jersey is considered the home jersey. Dallas just typically chooses to wear their white jerseys at home (where they have the choice). On the road, they can be forced to wear their blue jerseys if the home team decides to wear their white jerseys at home.

You are mistaken, guess you forgot this?

Have you only started following the Saints recently? Many seasons with Payton the Saints have worn White the first 4 home games to start the season.

Apparently must be new. We always wear white at home then comes November and we switch to all black.

The jersey combo we rarely wear nowadays is black jersey gold pants. Only wore that ONE time last year. Week 1.

The Saints wore white jerseys and gold pants for every post-season game of the Super Bowl year. All at home.

And for their first playoff home win. Just sayin.

Negative my fellow who dat. The Saints actually wore black jerseys with gold pants in the postseason during their 2009-10 Super Bowl run.

Nice post by the OP. I think it's been a long time since Dallas wore those jerseys vs. the Saints (home or away).

Even so, I'd like to see a similar outcome for the Cowboys in that game as they had vs. the Vikings in the Divisional round (2009 season). :ezbill:

Heads games. We don’t prefer to wear white. But we prefer that Dallas doesn’t wear white.

Then prompt the media to ask them all week why historically they play poorly in blue.

Just saw a story on ProFootballTalk that Cowboys will wear there Blue jerseys with silver pants, half of there games this season including there week 4 game vs the Saints. They have only worn the dark blue jerseys 138 times in there 60 year history of the franchise.

Unless im mistaken all 8 times that Brees faced the Cowboys since 2006, the Saints have always had the dark uniform.

Other then the Eagles game last season, have Saints had white jerseys at home during the Brees/ Payton era?

Time to bust out the Power Ranger unis.

#1 Saints wear white jerseys at home all the time. Have you ever watched a game? Sheesh

#2 Historically, Dallas doesn't like wearing blue jerseys. This goes back to the 70's at least. They think blue jerseys are bad luck or something, so they wear white at home where they have the choice, and usually white on the road where the home team typically picks the dark jersey.

Good. My cowboys fan friend hates the blue. Thinks they’re bad luck. Get them out of their comfort zone on the road.

Is there a real reason it matters what a team wears? Who cares if they wear blue or white or silver or orange, we've got to play our game and beat them!

Two thoughts.

1. For decades, you wore white at home and your colors on the road SO THEY WOULD KNOW WHO WAS COMIN'. Then, sometime in the 70s, some genius got the idea that they wanted to wear colors to represent at home. What we ended up with is every home game with your team in one color and some random guys showing up in white unis.

2. Nobody cares what the Dallas team will be wearing when we curb-stomp them in September.
