If the performance I saw last night is Cook playing his heart out, then in no way, shape or form is be better than Fournette. That was not a performance to stake your claim on. At least a half dozen times I saw him get stopped on runs that Fournette would have finished for 1st down conversions.Plus one guy is playing his heart out in the bowl game for his school, the other is sitting out to stay healthy.
Also, why no mention of Fournette playing his heart out with a high ankle sprain every single game this season? Get back to me when Cook runs for 280+ with a high ankle sprain.
Obviously there are 32 NFL Teams and Scouts are LSU Homers.BTW there is undoubtedly much more LSU hate on this forum than homerism. It isn't even close. LSU puts tons of talent in the league every year and although I don't think the Saints should draft "every LSU player" there are some players that are worth drafting, yet the mere suggestion that an LSU player is worth taking immediately gets shouted down by the anti-LSU crowd.
If he's not faster, the difference isn't enough to make an issue out of it.Fournette is not faster than Cook.
