I mean, I know we know this, but pretty cool explanation here.

I can tell you..had two feet inbounds, had control of football all the way to ground. #prettycoolexplanationhere
No doubt. We all saw it. But he went into detail on what officials look at versus instant replay. Thought it was interesting.

I didn't realize there was any controversy surrounding that catch.

Also - that was a heck of an effort by Kent Britt!

It is pretty much the same thing with Lance Moore two point conversion in the Super Bowl. Maintained possession going to the ground with control and then and only then the defender knocked the ball out.

That Britt catch was wild.

I don't understand why they don't just adopt the 2 min review rule for the whole game. They have ppl upstairs and in NY who can tell when a call needs to be looked at. It's silly that we had to challenge that. What's even sillier is that if we were for some reason out of challenges, that play would have stood as an incompletion.

They've gone in the right direction by making all turnovers and scores reviewable. I guess they are just scared of slowing the game down too much if they extend the 2 min review rule into the whole game. You've got to get the call right, though.

Allow me to propose a nerd solution.

Add measurable factors to the process of a catch. Decide once and for all how long does a player need to hold on to the ball, or how many tenths of a second or whatever the ball need to be still, firmly in hand.

Things that aren't confusing...to most.
