Agreed, and he has New Orleans ties.

Maurice Carthon (who was with the Chiefs lately) will interview also. The interesting thing is that Carthon was the othere finalist for the head coach position when Sean Payton got it.

They seem like great coaches cause they always have the best talent- See Nick Saban at Miami Dolphins

Carthon was an awesome fullback back in the day. Hard to believe he wouldn't help the running game. But then, Jim Haslett was an awesome linebacker.

Carthon has coached several times under Parcells, so that may be on his favor.

Positive: seems to be good as a running back coach. Negative: Terrible as an offensive coordinator.

Jim Haslett was not an awesome LB (awesome may be a bit an extreme term) and he also admitted to taking steroids while playing. Also, Jim had to run an entire team as opposed to only running the LB unit. However, I see the point you are trying to make.

Would LOVE to get Carthon. He is a great coach...there are reasons he has been in head coaching discussions.
